Ideas, experiences, and stories bound within a knitted piece are the subject of my work. The yarn itself has an origin story, and the act of my knitting projects marks the passage of time. As I work on and wear a piece, my experiences are knitted into the fabric and are intertwined with the yarn’s own story.  The knitted piece is a vessel, holding stories and experiences, for a specific period of time, for later introspection. The fibers link ideas and experiences I continue to explore on canvas.
